Chad Redongo

As a child, Chad’s passion for physical activity, desire for sport, and facing challenges led him into the world of action sports such as motocross, BMX, skateboarding, snowboarding, and the like. At the age of 11, Chad raced motocross competitively for 6 years.

It wasn’t until October of 2012 where he was introduced to CrossFit to stay in shape to compete in motocross. As a competitor, he quickly found out that he not only wanted to use CrossFit as a workout program, but to do it as a sport. A year later, after entering into his first competition, he was hooked and decided to place CrossFit as his main sport.

Chad found a new interest within CrossFit when he had the opportunity to become a coach in 2014. Fascinated by body mechanics and how the human body moves, he is eager to gain knowledge as a coach to help people reach their fitness goals while emphasizing safe and efficient functional movements.

In 2014, Chad competed at the SoCal regionals on a team. More often that not, you can find Chad at the gym training to one day go back to regionals or coaching classes to help people improve their fitness. When he’s not at the gym, he enjoys filmmaking and doing the action sports he did as a kid.
